Histoy

      The Department of History was established in 1989 within the Faculty of Letters and Sciences. The first undergraduate students started their education in the academic year of 1990-1991. The Undergraduate Secondary Education program was opened in the academic year of 2005-2006.  

      In our department, which continues its educational activities in undergraduate, graduate and PHD programs and education and academic activities are carried out by two Professors, six Associate Professors, eight Assistant Professors, eleven Research Assistants.
